SCL Food Pantry Update
The SCL Food Pantry, which started in 2006, is located in the basement of the Parish Office and is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:15am to Noon. The pantry is staffed by members of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus, the St. Vincent de Paul Society, SCL parishioners and other volunteers.
The Food Pantry is stocked through the Meal-a-Month collections, as well as by benevolent donors who support the pantry with additional food donations. Financial donations from the Knights of Columbus, parishioners, and others also make this ministry possible.
The pantry is available to anyone residing in or out of St. Catherine Laboure boundaries. Food, personal care items, and cleaning supplies are distributed to the clients. The pantry averages 250-300 participants per month, benefitting a total of 800-1075 family members.
