2026 Track Information

Track 2026:

CYC Grades 1st-8th

SCL Instructional for K

Registration runs 1/1/26-2/16-26 . Practices begin March 8. Meet season begins in April and concludes end of May.

Registration fee is $40 K-8th 

There are NO reassignments for Track.

All practices will be held at either the Lindbergh High School Track or the Mehlville High School track. Practice times are Sundays from 3-5:00pm and weekdays from 5:45-7:00pm. The tentative practice schedule (subject to change) is March 8,12,15,19,,22,26,29;  April 1,7,9,16, 19, 23,26,30; May 3,7,12,14. Late April and May schedule MAY change based on our Prelim Meet assignment. Sunday practices will include field events and extra high school coaches. Weekday practices will mostly be for 3-8th or if you cant make Sunday.

Event choices for K, 1st & 2nd are 50m, 100m, 200m, Standing long jump and 4x100m relay.

Event choices for 3rd-8th are 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1600m, 4x100m relay, 4x200m relay, 4x400m relay, High jump, running long jump and shot put.

Event placement will be made by the coaches with input from each individual runner.

The date for the SCL Invitational is April 12th at 12N @ Desmet Jesuit High School. Attendance at this meet is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED. For K-8th. This is the ONLY meet for K. We will attend Mass as a team on Saturday April 11 @ 5pm.

The CYC preliminary Meet will be held either April 25th @ Dubourg High School OR May 2nd @ Desmet Jesuit High School for 1st-8th.(This is an ALL-DAY event.) Attendance at this meet is MANDATORY for 1st-8th.

The CYC Final Track Meet is May 16th at Lindenwood University. (This is an ALL-DAY event-you must qualify to compete in this meet.) MANDATORY for all qualifiers.

In addition, there will be 2-3 extra meets for those runners in 6-8th grade, probably Tuesdays or Wednesdays in April, TBD. OPTIONAL
