Lent Begins Ash Wednesday, February 26

St. Catherine’s will again offer the printed Lent reflection books as well as the daily “email blasts” to help us focus and prepare during this important liturgical season.

For those who like to consume content “online”, here are several great resources:

  1. Our very own Fr. Ron Hoye, CM, has a daily 10 minute reflection called “The God Minute”. Those who loved our Parish Missions over the last few years will especially enjoy starting your day with Fr. Ron. You don’t have to wait until Lent – This one is here now. Available in multiple formats, including podcast.
  2. The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has again established a special website for this most critical season in our Church Year.
  3. Loyola Press, a Jesuit Ministry, is offering extensive resources on its website, most of which are free and do not require website registration.
  4. The Catholic.Org website has an extensive lent section (very interactive and easy to navigate, but bear in mind this website is supported by ads).
