SCL School News

Saint Catherine Laboure School is a vital ministry of our parish. Catholic education at St. Catherine provides a strong academic program, vibrant community, deep faith formation, and a commitment to the Vincentian Charism of serving Christ in others, especially the poor.

The Archdiocese of St. Louis instituted a significant salary increase to attract and retain well qualified teachers.  Both the Parish Finance Committee and the BOE Finance members support this initiative that will more adequately compensate our Catholic educators for their dedicated service.

In addition, in a survey, an overwhelming majority of the parents of our school community expressed their willingness to help cover the salary with a significant increase in tuition.

Our children are our future.  We want to continue what has been built here, so the parish has made a commitment to increase our subsidy of the school to help offset the impact of inflation.
