Membership is open to all men in the parish. The purpose of the Men’s Association is to promote the spiritual life of the men and to sponsor programs for the spiritual benefit of the parish, support activities of the children of the parish, promote and assist social activities, and assist in parish projects.

The SCL Men’s Association raises funds to help with the various needs of the parish and its members. We put on many fundraisers throughout the year which include the parish fish fries, the golf tournament, the trivia night, and the Marquis Club.

The Men’s Association also assists the Athletic Association by collecting the athletic fees and then paying CYC dues, paying officials, paying for the maintenance of the fields, and paying for and maintaining uniforms.

The funds raised by the Men’s Association go towards subsidizing the Athletic Association, assisting the other organizations of the parish, helping SCL families in need, giving scholarships to eighth graders at SCL that are headed to high school, and making improvements to the parish’s athletic fields.

Men’s Association Meetings:

Second Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the School Cafeteria
Exception - The May meeting is held the day before the school picnic on parking lot. We help set up for the picnic during that meeting
Exception – The December meeting is our Christmas Party and is held office site. It is still on the second Monday of December.
