Offertory Trends

Like you , we have been shocked at the higher prices for many common expenses.
And like many of you, we are trying to be good stewards of our resources. Unfortunately, it has been necessary to spend from reserve funds to meet our expenses for the past few years.  Donations to our general offertory fund which are used for ordinary expenses have decreased 12 % over the past five years. 
Most of our expenses have continued to climb, as have yours. In addition, we have been following
archdiocesan guidance regarding staff salary increases, which generally have been below
what is truly necessary to keep up with inflation. {More on this next week.}
Please prayerfully consider what you are able to contribute to the Offertory General Fund using weekly envelopes or online giving. Even a small increased contribution can make a difference. We will be providing more information in the weeks ahead.
